Results - Nampak and WApic Insurance Plc
Nampak Plc today released its un-audited account for nine months ended 30th June, 2008. Turnover inched up by 0.55% from N2.140 billion to N2.152 billion. However, PBT and PAT declined by 291.22% and 330.54% to (N210 million) and (N172.25 million) respectively.  According to the company’s management, “the loss to date is due to material variations arising from system and control issues which continue to impact on the business in the last nine months”.
 
Wapic Insurance Plc today released its un-audited results for the half year ended 30th June, 2008. Turnover grew by 41.18% to N3.915 billion, PBT also increased by 6.56% to N812 million while PAT however decreased by 0.54% to N568.965 million.
