The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) has appointed a new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in person of Mr. Emmanuel Omoniyi Ajayi following the voluntary retirement of former Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. O.A Olorunleke.
The President/Chairman of the Council of the Institute, Mr. Muritala Ariyo Olushekun, on Wednesday in Lagos confirmed the appointment of the new Chief Executive while commending the invaluable contributions of the out-going registrar, Mr. O.A Olorunleke, to the growth and development of the Institute. Mr Olorunleke had joined the CIS in August 2004 as Assistant Director and Head of Membership and Student Affairs and was promoted to Deputy Director in June 2005. He was subsequently appointed as Registrar and Chief Executive in March 2007. Over the years, he served meritoriously in various capacities and as member of several committees of the Institute
Mr. Emmanuel Omoniyi Ajayi has since assumed duties as the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, effective July 02, 2012.
