Forte Oil Plc has notified The Exchange of the appointment of Mr. Akinyele Olabunmi Olagbende as its Acting Company Secretary/Legal Adviser, effective June 14, 2012.

Olagbende was called to bar in 2004 after graduating with LLB. Honours Law at Sussex University, Falmer, Brighton. He started his career with Legal and General Insurance Plc, Brighton, England in September 2000, where he worked in the underwriting Department and was involved in daily registration of client’s medical and financial details. Between November 2004 and July 2006, he worked with Olatunde Adejuigbe & Co as part of the litigation team of the firm and he was involved in legal research, drafting pleadings, motions and affidavits. He moved to Goldman Sachs Asset Management in February 2007 and worked within the Trade Management Team of this large Asset Management business. Olagbende transferred his services to PIMCO Europe in April 2008 and worked as Compliance Analyst until May 2012.
